The MOT1ON watch was born of its founders’ desire to take the emotions that emanate from the touch of beautifully crafted speed machines and infuse them into something precious: an elegant, masculine new watch. These feelings were a source of inspiration that aided our search to bring the highest quality materials, savoir-faire and a fresh approach to 20th century design principles to an eloquent modern watch.

SYE has created a watch that is designed to endure the rigors of daily life, yet retains an elegant masculine profile, combining athletic style and bold design to bring Sport Tailoring right to your wrist.
Sport Tailoring is a combination of two fashions and two mindsets working together to create a style for men wanting to make statement. Sport Tailoring fuses athletic shapes and dynamic styles, with a focus on refinement and precision that has been immaculately woven into the DNA of the watch, right down to the last stitch. The end result is a new kind of elegance that is both modern and practical.

In our quest for a unique timepiece, the inspiration made us look at materials, savoir-faire and modern design principles from a new angle.

The car/motorcycle scene is bursting with creativity and know-how.
Some workshops are capable of recreating the curves of a machine and fusing bodywork and upholstery to perfection.

This is the approach we wanted to adopt for our watches.

Our desire to design an exclusive watch led to the birth of MOT1ON.

MOT1ON Automatic Twenty-Four combines a top-range leather strap with a modern steel body in an innovative, eye-catching design.

Its rich personality brings 'Sport Tailoring' to your wrist; it's as dynamic as it is classy, as elegant as it is athletic, and it will hug your wrist all day long without a single misstep.

We cut no corners with MOT1ON – it is simply the best.

MOT1ON boasts a solid stainless steel 316L body made up of five mechanical components to fill it with sophistication and character.

Its impeccable finish is carefully balancing between brushed steel around the body, polished steel for the bezel and a sophisticated bead-blasted finish on the back... not to mention the anodized screw in the middle for an unexpected touch of colour.

The dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. This means you have nothing worry about when admiring the many details of the elegant dial.

MECHANICAL SPIRIT IN EVERY WAY

The mood is immediately set with etched lines like an engine block.

At the heart of your SYE MOT1ON Automatic Twenty-Four we chose to use the famously reliable Miyota Japanese watch movement, which beats 21,600 times per hour (3 Hz). This mechanical watch movement is automatically powered via the motion of your wrist and will reserve its power for over 42 hours off your wrist.

Underneath the MOT1ON watch you will find the Fastback™ system, which is an ingenious mechanism allowing you to swap out straps with ease. With a few simple twists of a tool, you can remove the back, change the strap, and you're good to go!

Taking its name from the dynamic shape of renowned carriages, the premium Fastback™ range that adorns each SYE MOT1ON watch is made primarily of French calfskin. Carefully chosen from French tanneries, it has unparalleled quality: soft, supple and able to acquire a beautiful patina over time.

Our French manufacture partner meticulously crafts the straps with a high-quality finish to ensure they fit your wrist perfectly.
We have taken every step to make sure your strap stays with you as long as possible - metal inserts seamlessly incorporated into the leather increase longevity and perfectly sync with the watch body. A folding deployment buckle maintains your strap’s shape and protects it from marks. Want a proof? Our 1st prototype, at the top of the picture, still wears perfectly after 4 years!

With the K-Tails end pieces you can adapt a wide range of 18mm wide straps. But there’s more...

The adaptation of the straps with the K-Tails keeps our unique integration spirit for a very aesthetic visual effect without skipping comfort, especially for smaller wrists, thanks to their compact size.
